Does real love even exist anymore?! Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are calling it quits. The longtime couple and recent newlyweds, have split less than a year after tying the knot.
A rep for Miley told People Magazine, “Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time. Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.”
Miley posted a photo of herself recently and doesn’t appear to be wearing her wedding ring:

Miley and Liam have had an on-again, off again relationship since 2009. He proposed to her in 2012 and broke up and then got back together in 2015. The writing may have been on the wall this whole time. Miley told Elle magazine earlier this year that she doesn’t “fit into a stereotypical wife role,” also revealing she’s attracted to women.
Liam has been hanging out with his brother Chris during this time but Miley has already found someone else to get close to, causing more news. Cyrus clapped back at Brody Jenner after The Hills star commented on a photo of the newly-single Cyrus and Jenner’s soon-to-be-ex-wife Kaitlynn Carter.
Jenner shared a photo of himself on Instagram Sunday that showed him standing by the ocean in Malibu, California. When his Hills co-star and friend Brandon Lee commented, “Let’s round this scandal out and post a pic of us making out,” along with a kiss emoji, Jenner replied with a laughing-crying emoji and wrote, “Watch out! Pics of Liam and I holding hands on the beach coming soon.” Cyrus was quick to respond, commenting, “@brodyjenner go take a nap in your truck and cool off.” She added the hashtag #HotGirlSummer and two bunny girl emojis.
Many of us were rooting for the couple but it looks like it wasn’t meant to be.
