Everyone remembers the 1996 movie Space Jam starring Michael Jordan, and now fans can look forward to the sequel that has been years in the making.
The movie, set to be released in 2021, announced that there is going to be some major cameos. Space Jam 2 is going to be produced by LA Lakers star LeBron James and Black Panther’s Ryan Coogler.
Space Jam 2 will feature key roles for:
Damian Lillard
Anthony Davis
Klay Thompson
Diana Taurasi

Some of the cameos will include some NBA stars including LeBron James, his teammate Anthony Davis, Klay Thompson from the Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets point guard Chris Paul, and Damian Lillard of the Portland Trailblazers.
There will also be some roles for WNBA stars Diana Taurasi and sisters Chiney and Nneka Ogwumike and several more basketball stars that have yet to be announced.
The movie is set to begin filming during the NBA offseason and will hit theaters on July 16, 2021. Many 90’s kids will be looking forward to this sequel and hopefully it lives up to the anticipation!
