Do you like Netflix’s original content? Did you get caught up in the Bird Box craze? Well it’s going to start cost you some extra dough. Netflix announced Tuesday that it’s raising its monthly rates by up to 18 percent. The streaming service’s most popular plan, the Standard tier, will cost $12.99 instead of $10.99, while the Premium and Basic plans will also rise in cost. These rates will apply immediately to new subscribers, while existing subscribers will be phased in “over the next few months.”
