The New York State Department of Health is investigating The Chainsmokers’ Saturday night concert over social distancing violations. Video from the duo’s drive-in charity fundraiser shows people standing too close to each other at the 100-acre venue. “I am appalled,” said New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo. One health commissioner says he’s “at a loss as to how the Town of Southampton could have issued a permit for such an event.” He’s also wondering “how they believed it was legal and not an obvious public health threat.”
