While on tour in Santa Ana, California, AWGE/A$AP Mob member Playboi Carti took to the stage to address the sexual assault allegations permeating around the mob’s founder A$AP Bari.
Carti says, “I don’t support none of that rape shit. Fuck all that shit. Man look, that shit wack. I love women, that shit wack.”
Although Carti made his initial statement, as the crowd began to chant “Fuck Bari”, Carti quickly shot down this chant. He told the crowd, ” Nah, ain’t no Fuck Bari, that’s my brother, but that nigga, he did wrong bro.”
All of this stems off a viral video that was released allegedly showing A$AP Bari sexually assaulting a woman in a hotel room in London. Bari has since issued a statement denouncing the allegations, saying that they were false and that he and the woman were actually friends currently.
Where will this issue go? No one truly knows. But at least we know where Carti stands.
