Chadwick Boseman passed away this past Friday at the age of 43 after battling colon cancer since 2016. His breakout role came in 2013 when he portrayed baseball legend Jackie Robinson in the biopic 42. He then played James Brown in Get on Up before taking on his most notable role of the Black Panther.
It was also reported the he married his longtime girlfriend Taylor Simone Ledward before he passed away. Boseman’s family confirmed the news, writing that the actor “died in his home, with his wife and family by his side.” The pair began dating before Boseman’s colon cancer diagnosis four years ago. They got engaged in October of last year.
