People joked when Stephen Curry left Nike and signed a shoe deal with Under Armour in 2013. Rolling Stone reports that Curry and Under Armour are close to agreeing to a $1 billion lifetime deal. In the past six years, Steph and UA have established the Curry Brand. A portion of the profits goes to help coaches and youth in underserved communities. Curry’s current deal with the brand is scheduled to end in 2024. Neither party has commented on the reported billion-dollar offer.
