There aren’t many details about it right now, but guys..come ON. Can’t be doing this. Apparently one guy fell about 50 feet, while the other fell nearly twice that. Both were taken to the hospital with “moderate injuries.” The game isn’t easy at times, but you know what is easy? Not walking off a cliff. You can literally zoom out and click a Pokemon from like 50 feet away. Why were these guys walking off a cliff? I’m confused. I’m also a little werided out by how Fox subtly describes the game in this short article, “…the digital-monster cellphone game…” Hey, Fox. This is Pokemon. This is our childhoods remastered and brought to literal life. How about a little respect? It’s much more than a digital-monster cellphone game, and if you don’t know the difference, you ain’t ready to be the very best Pokemon Master. B’lieve dat.
Other things that have been happening due to this game:
People getting stabbed
People getting lured and robbed
People getting carjacked
People stopping an attempted murder
People literally dying for various reasons.
But the pros are: it’s getting everyone up and out of the house, maybe shedding some LBs, discovering new places, and meeting new friends. Just yesterday I went on a walk to Congdon’s Doughnuts in Wells just to take a Gym for TEAM MYSTIC (represent). One car drove by and a passenger yelled, “ARE YOU PLAYING POKEMON!?”
