It’s the end of an era! Pat Sajak has announced he’s retiring from Wheel of Fortune after their upcoming 41st season.
Well, the time has come. I’ve decided that our 41st season, which begins in September, will be my last. It’s been a wonderful ride, and I’ll have more to say in the coming months. Many thanks to you all. (If nothing else, it’ll keep the clickbait sites busy!)

Pat has hosted the show since 1981 and Vanna White has been working by his side since 1982. He has won three Daytime Emmy Awards for outstanding game show host and he received a lifetime achievement award at the 2011 Daytime Emmys.
No word on who will replace him yet, but those will definitely be big shoes to fill. Wishing Pat the best with whatever is next for him!
