Who knew you could end a feud with a batch of cookies? Well it looks like that is how Katy Perry and Taylor Swift confirmed their truce to the public. The feud between these two pop stars is finally over! E News confirms the “Bad Blood” singer and the “Roar” singer enjoyed a girls’ night on Tuesday, which was revealed through Katy Perry’s Instagram post, which she tagged Taylor Swift. The “California Girls” singer posted a picture of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and captioned the picture “feels good” along with a heart emoji. And on top of the plate, written in red frosting, it states “Peace At Last.”
According to Billboard, last year Katy Perry sent Taylor Swift an “olive branch with a kind note for the opening night of her Reputation stadium tour.” But before these two lovely ladies made amends, there a couple of rude comments and diss songs each of them made about one another. NBC News reports that the feud began with both singers dating John Meyer at different times, then Katy trying to “steal” Taylors backup dancers during their world tours. Teen Vogue states that after the John Meyer and backup dancer incidents, Katy Perry called Taylor “Regina George in sheep’s clothing” on twitter, which Taylor responded with her hit song “Bad Blood.” Then Katy made her summer hit “Swish Swish,” which many fans felt was a diss track about Taylor. After all that has been said and done by these two pop stars, there is peace at last. It is no longer Katy vs. Taylor, but rather Katy & Taylor.
