Scarborough, ME – Hot Radio Maine held their 8th annual Thanksgiving turkey give-away. This year’s turkey give-away consisted of over $2,200 in free turkeys. This year the turkey give-away was once again in conjunction with Maine Credit Unions and returned to the Great East Butcher Company located at 450 Payne Road in Scarborough, Maine. The turkey give-away began at 11:00am on Tuesday, November, 24th and turkeys were handed out on a first come, first serve basis until all of the turkeys were gone.
There was no cost, no catch, and no strings attached to receive a free turkey for Thanksgiving. The Hot Radio Maine staff was on site handing out turkeys and all necessary COVID-19 precautions were followed including mandatory mask wearing. Hot Radio Maine Program Director and Morning Host, Ryan Deelon announced the give-away on air saying “We’re proud to be able to hold this give-away for the 8th straight year. We know that particularly 2020 has been a tough year for many Mainers and we’re hopeful that a free turkey for Thanksgiving can offer some assistance for their holiday.”
