Ahead of the release of his new album, Blue Lips, TDE’s ScHoolboy Q takes a moment to show some love to not only one of his favorite collaborators, but one of his best homies in Mac Miller. The song, “Blueslides,” has a smooth piano sample that you could definitely hear Mac utilizing in his music. Of course, the song title is a call back to Mac’s 2011 album, Blue Slide Park. I remember being in high school bumping that with the homies when it dropped.
ScHoolboy raps, “Lost a homeboy to the drugs, man I ain’t trying to go backwards / But I realize that sh*t hurts and think, ‘Was it worth it?’/ Man, I gotta shake this shit, wake up & move with a purpose.”
