It has been nearly 30 years since Selena was killed. Yolanda shot the singer in the back at a Days Inn hotel in Corpus Christi, Texas, in 1995 after being accused by the singer of embezzling money. She is currently serving a life sentence at the Patrick L. O’Daniel Unit in Gatesville and had a petition for parole being considered this week. The panel’s reason for denial was the “nature of the offense,” according to the board.
Happy to see justice will continue to be served for Selena!
