No stranger to the world of music, Superman himself, the Big Diesel, is back on the mic. It’s been 31 years since you can say he officially started his career as an artist because back in 1992 when he started his NBA career, he also signed a record deal with Jive Records. Today, amid his various ventures, he still finds time for music as DJ Diesel and has now delivered a new verse with Blackway and Koko on “King Talk”.
Shaq found some inspiration in LeBron James setting the all-time scoring record in the NBA earlier this season, saying, “A king recognizes a king.” He further elaborated on the collaboration saying, “Koko and I have been sending beats back and forth for a minute now and after he played me this one, I knew I had to jump on it. I’ve been waiting for the perfect moment for a collab with Blackway and this was it. This is the type of record that gets me hyped like I’m walking out for Game 7 of the Finals.”
Does Shaq still got it? Check the song out below, and take a listen to some of his humble beginnings on the mic while you’re at it.
