After a 2 year break, Simone Biles is returning to competitive gymnastics! Team USA announced the good news.

You may recall she dropped out of the Tokyo Olympics back in 2021 after getting the “twisties.” That’s when a gymnast loses their spatial awareness while in the air, which can obviously be quite dangerous. Simone will now be competing at NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Ill., on August 4-5. She is the most decorated gymnast in history with 25 world championship medals. No word if she’s planning to head to the 2024 Olympics in Paris, but my fingers are crossed for her return!
