This girl just keeps slaying. The BMI’s has only done this twice; presented an award in an artists name, the first time being Michael Jackson, the second being Taylor Swift. She received the Taylor Swift Award in recognition of her creative and artistic and influence last night May 10th at the Beverly Wilshire in Beverly Hills, CA.

“This is just an unbelievable night,” said the 10-time Grammy Award winner, then added, “I have this issue called songwriting … I know you have it too.”
By the way, just to further show why T-Swift is amazing, she also won the Pop Songwriter of the Year award for releasing four of the year’s most-performed songs: “Bad Blood,” “Blank Space,” “Style” and “Wildest Dreams,” all from her chart-topping album 1989.
