Is this the future of concerts? If the venue has $2.3 billion to spare, then, perhaps! The new Las Vegas sphere finally opened it’s door for the very first concert experience, featuring U2, and the stars were in the building to witness all of it’s glory.
For the first of a 25 show residency, U2 got to play to some special guests that included the likes of LeBron James, Bryan Cranston, Paul McCartney, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Matt Damon, Jeff Bezos, Katy Perry, and many more as the crowd oohed and aahed at the spectacular visual display that seemingly stretched into the sky.
The 366-foot tall, 18,600 seated capacity venue is large enough to fit the entirety of the Statue of Liberty inside of it, and the massive LED screen looks like an IMAX theatre on steroids. If you’re in Vegas, this looks like it has to be on the must-see list.
