In an unfortunate and surprising turn of events, the young Pittsburgh rapper who inspired many during his early come up, Mac Miller, has passed away at the age of 26 due to an apparent drug overdose.

He leaves behind many mixtapes, albums, and music for all moods that will surely be blaring through many speakers in the days, months, and years to come. Most recently, he dropped his album SWIMMING in August and was set to start tour in October support of the project.

Mac was known to have a history of drug abuse, but in recent times it was believed that he had things more under control than in the past.

I dont know what to say Mac Miller took me on my second tour ever. But beyond helping me launch my career he was one of the sweetest guys I ever knew. Great man. I loved him for real. Im completely broken. God bless him.
