A submarine of 5 people touring the wreckage of the RMS Titanic went missing this weekend, capturing the attention of the entire world. Today’s awaited 1pm brief from the US Coast Guard has just finished. In summary, they are still searching, expanding the search, and focussing on the area where underwater noises were heard yesterday. A Canadian airplane assisting in the search detected what has been described as “banging” noises, providing some hope. The US Coast Guard has made it clear that this is still a search and rescue mission, not a recovery mission.
Brian Szasz, the stepson of billionaire Hamish Harding, who is confirmed to be among the passengers aboard the missing Titanic submersible, sought solace in attending a blink-182 concert. Prior to the San Diego show on Monday, Szasz took to the internet to express his hopes for a successful rescue mission for his stepfather, Hamish. He later shared photographs of himself outside the concert venue.
In response to critics who deemed his concert attendance insensitive considering his family’s distressing situation, Szasz defended his decision by stating, “While it may seem inappropriate to be here, my family understands my need to be at the blink-182 show, as they know it’s my favorite band and music serves as a source of comfort during difficult times.”
Subsequently, Szasz chose to delete the aforementioned posts and replaced them with a new message requesting privacy.
Cardi B was one of the critics.
Brian Szasz replied to Cardi B’s commentary.
@iamcardib What a pos trashy celeb. Cardi B trying to get clout off me and my families suffering. I went to a Blink 182 concert for coping rather than sitting at home and watching the news. Shame on you Cardi get some class! https://t.co/SyF4eMX0uX
