J. Cole claims he’s “the greatest right now” in his new video for “Middle Child” and, honestly, it’s hard to argue with the streak he’s been on.
Dropping the critically acclaimed KOD last year, seeing his Dreamville signees Bas, J.I.D, and Ari Lennox flourish, Revenge of the Dreamers III sessions setting the internet on fire, performing at the NBA All-Star game in his home state…I mean, c’mon. Cole is on fire!
In the video for “Middle Child,” Cole can be seen on the red carpet before an audience at an award show (which is funny considering how he annually shuns The Grammy’s) before appearing amongst a group of dead bodies lying under sheets. We get it, Cole, you’re killing the game. J’s got your favorite rapper’s head displayed as a trophy on his wall and he’s letting you know about it.
