Music fans got a surprise on Sunday night. Kendrick Lamar dropped a new song and video titled “The Heart Part 5.” During the visual, Kendrick’s face morphs into deep fakes of OJ Simpson, Kanye West, Will Smith, Jussie Smollett, Kobe Bryant, and Nipsey Hussle. At the beginning of the video, the title card said, “I am. All Of Us.” The track uses a sample from Marvin Gaye’s classic “I Want You.” “The Heart Part 5 drops a week before Lamar’s anticipated Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers album.
