1. OJ Simpson has died. He was 76-years-old. Simpson was a world-class college and professional football player who transitioned into broadcasting, acting, and spokesperson. His legacy became tarnished after the brutal murder of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ron Goldman. Simpson stood trial for the murders but was acquitted.
2. In Hermon a school bus driver is recovering from minor injuries after his bus collided with a flatbed truck and fuel tanker. The bus was not carrying any students or other passengers. As the bus turned left the driver reportedly fell out of his seat and down the bus stairs. With nobody at the wheel, the bus careened into a flatbed lumber truck heading the opposite direction. The force of the collision forced the flatbed into a Dysart’s tanker hauling fuel. (WMTW)
