1. Former Reality TV Show Host Donald Trump was indicted on felony charges Tuesday for working to overturn the results of the 2020 election in the run-up to the violent riot by his supporters at the U.S. Capitol. The four-count indictment is the third criminal case against Trump. (WMTW)
2. A Waldoboro man appeared in D.C. court Tuesday on assault charges stemming from the January 6th attack on the Capitol. Matthew Brackley, 39, of Waldoboro, has not yet been required to enter a plea on several charges, including assaulting 2 law enforcement officers. (PH)
3. Gorham school leaders are meeting tonight to draft a third school budget after the first two were rejected by residents. The second proposal that was shot down would have cut 20 jobs and many after school activities and made kids pay to play sports. (WGME)
4. The Maine Lobster Festival has replaced the decades-old ‘Sea Goddess’ title. Interest dropped and only four girls signed up last year.
