1. Meteorological winter is ending in two weeks, but Portland has only experienced less than half of the typical seasonal snowfall. Portland is seeing the lowest snow totals in February since the 90s. (WGME)
2. Community members came together with Lewiston’s The Washtub laundromat to offer a free laundry voucher for unhoused people. For two weeks, it gives people a free double-load wash and dry, laundry detergent and softener and a snack and drink. 3. Iowa’s Caitlin Clark became women’s college basketball’s all-time leading scorer on Thursday night. Clark only needed eight points to surpass the 3,527 point mark. She scored 49 against Michigan. Clark said, “It’s cool to be in the same realm as a lot of really, really good players. I’m lucky to do it because I have really good teammates, and really good coaches, and a great support system that surrounds me.” (YT)
