5. Netflix announced a price increase. The ad-supported tier is increasing from $6.99 to $7.99. The standard ad-free tier will go from $15.49 to $17.99. The cost of adding an Extra Member is going up from $7.99 to $8.99. The price hikes will go into effect on the next billing cycle. (Forbes)
