1. The U.S. Geological Survey reported a magnitude 3.8 earthquake that happened off the coast of southern Maine on Monday. The earthquake happened at 10:22 a.m. just over 6.2 miles southeast of York Harbor. It was the fifth strongest on record in Maine. (WMTW)
2. The Gorham School Department said high school students were sent home early on Monday because of a threatening voicemail. Police and school officials determined the voicemail was left by someone calling on a prepaid phone from Kentucky, and that there is no credible threat to Gorham High School students. (WMTW)
3. 69-year-old Mark Strong Sr. of Thomaston was convicted of helping to run Alexis Wright’s prostitution business out of a Zumba dance studio in Kennebunk more than a decade ago. Rockland police say they raided Asian Massage in Rockland in December based on suspected sex trafficking. Mark Strong Sr. was one of 11 men charged for allegedly engaging a person for prostitution at the massage parlor. (WGME)
4. First Lady Melania Trump’s official White House portrait was released by the White House on Monday. The black and white shot was snapped by a Belgian photographer and captured in the Yellow Oval Room one day after Melania’s husband Donald was sworn in as the 47th president. Melania, a former fashion model, is wearing business attire: a dark-colored suit with a crisp white shirt underneath. Her hair is down and wavy, and her nails are meticulously manicured. (IG)

Starbucks announced that it is bringing back some of its fan-favorite coffeehouse amenities, including the choice to order a beverage “for here” and the option to refill some drinks free of charge.
