1. Strong and severe storms moved through Maine Sunday, with numerous severe thunderstorm warnings and even a tornado warning in northern Maine. In Fryeburg, the fire department said a possible microburst caused extensive damage to trees and power lines. (WMTW)
2. The softball complex on Randall Road in Lewiston has been dedicated to Ronald Morin, who was killed in the Lewiston shootings. The city joined friends and family of Ronald to hold a ceremony and unveil the new sign made for the dedication. (WMTW)
3. Starting today it will cost more to park in several places in the city of Portland. The hourly rate at the Spring Street and Elm Street garages will rise from $3 per hour to $4 per hour and the monthly rate will rise from $150 to $160. The daily rate at the Ocean Gateway Lot will rise from $20 to $25. The city estimates that the higher fees will generate hundreds of thousands of dollars in added revenue each year. The cost for Portland city trash bags also goes up on July 1. (WMTW)

5. Simone Biles breezed through the competition at the US Gymnastics Trials over the weekend by winning the all-around and earning a spot on her third Olympic team. During the 2021 Olympics, Biles withdrew from several finals in order to focus on her mental health. (AP)
