2. An encampment in Biddeford’s Mechanics Park is now cleared. Dozens of people have been living in tents for months down by the river. People will be allowed to stay at Seeds of Hope from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with some flexibility on arrival time at first. (WGME)
3. Portland Police say two teens had over 62 grams of cocaine when they were pulled over for making an illegal U-turn. Both were charged with aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs, unlawful possession of cocaine. Officers also found $1,550 in cash, a digital scale and a loaded handgun in the car. (PH)
4. An empty runaway boat speeding in circles on New Hampshire’s Lake Winnipesaukee was brought safely to a stop by a teenager who jumped aboard from a personal watercraft. Rhere were multiple children in sailboats and other vessels docked nearby, no one was injured, nor was any property damaged. (PH)
