2. Your neighborhood Walgreens could be going away. On Thursday, Walgreens CEO Tim Wentworth said the pharmacy and convenience chain could shut down up to 25 percent of its 8,600 stores. Last summer, Walgreens announced plans to close 150 stores. Wentworth said it is a “challenging” environment for pharmacies and consumers. (NBC)
3. Bissell Brothers Brewing plans to close its Three Rivers location in Milo at the end of the summer, its owners wrote in an open letter to their customers on the company’s website. In the letter the brothers mentioned “People are drinking less beer than they have in decades.” (PH)
4. Look up to the skies over the next month and you may catch a glimpse of a comet not seen flying past Earth since 1956. Comet 13P/Olbers was first identified in 1815 will come as close as 1.9 astronomical units – or 176 million miles – away from Earth’s orbit. It will come closest to us on July 20th but should be visible as soon as this Sunday with binoculars. (FOX)
