1. The city of Auburn held a ceremony Sunday morning to commemorate the renaming of two fields after two victims who were killed in the Lewiston Mass Shooting on Oct. 25. Both Tricia Asselin and Joe Walker played many softball games at Pettengill park. The city of auburn says there’s nothing more fitting than having the fields dedicated in their names. (WMTW)
2. Donald Trump’s campaign raised $53 million in the first 24 hours after his guilty verdict in the hush money trial. The substantial sum was collected through the campaign’s online digital fundraising platform, with over $2 million in donations per hour. Approximately one-third of the donors were first-time contributors. (JN)
3. Several people were injured at a monster truck show in Topsham on Saturday. The monster truck named Crushstation hit a jump, clipped a utility wire, and dragged down several utility poles, one of the poles landing near the spectator section. (WMTW)
4. For the first time in over a decade, ticket prices for the Casco Bay ferry lines have increased. Starting on June 1st, peak full prices for adults jumped from $7.75 to $14, with the off-peak season now being $7.20. Prices hadn’t changed in 15 years and Casco Bay Lines said they had been operating at a loss. (WGME)
5. Sunday marked the very first ever Windham-Raymond Pride event held at the city hall. Leading up to Sunday, there’s been a lot of backlash and negativity online, causing some concern for some folks but Windham Police say they investigated and found no real threats. (WGME)
