1. Portland high school student Joel Andre and two family members are back in Maine after four months in ICE custody. The family fled violence in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and an appeals court has now blocked their deportation while their asylum case continues. (WGME)

2. Lewiston Public Schools are closed today after a major water main break caused significant damage near Orange and Webster Streets. The break has been repaired, but about 5,000 residents are under a boil water order for at least 24 hours. (WMTW)

3. Six people were hurt after a floor collapsed during a wedding in Tamworth, New Hampshire, sending nearly 70 guests into a basement. Investigators say the building was over capacity. Injuries are reported as non-life-threatening. (WGME)

4. An eighth grader from Machias is headed to the National Spelling Bee after winning the Maine State Spelling Bee with the word stratosphere. Tristan Singh says he also won a bet with himself and now gets to attend his school’s spring dance. (PH)

5. Former South Portland High standout JP Estrella scored 10 points as Tennessee beat Virginia 79-72 to advance to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA men’s basketball tournament. The Volunteers will now face Iowa State in the Midwest Regional semifinal Friday in Chicago. (PH)
