3. Once upon a time there were Ames stores all across Maine. The company is making a comeback and says it will start opening new stores in June 2026 with a total of 35 stores by late 2027 and more in 2028. 4. It’s the last weekend of the season at the Thompson’s Point Rink. Local breweries are battling on Saturday in a pond hockey invitational. For ice time, you’ll have to get tickets for Friday or Sunday. (PH)
5. Hidden Valley has announced a new flavor just ahead of National Ranch Day on March 10th. The company teamed with Cheez-It for Cheezy Ranch. You’ll be able to find it at Walmart. Hidden Valley is also dropping other new flavors this spring, like: Garlic Ranch, Nashville Hot, Creamy Jalapeno, Spicy Hot Honey, Green Goddess, and Parmesan Ranch. (FB)
