1. For the first time, U.S. authorities say they are seeking the forfeiture of Maine properties used in illegal cannabis growing operations. Federal officials are looking to seize four Maine properties that authorities say might be connected to Chinese crime organizations. (PH)

2. Concord Coach Lines is ending its bus services to Lewiston and Auburn on June 30. The Maine Department of Transportation is hoping to launch a new contracted bus service from Portland to the Twin Cities, and it could start running as soon as July. (WGME)

3. The Patriots and Revolution hosted a community day for Lewiston. Almost 400 kids signed up to participate in football and soccer clinics at Lewiston High School. The Patriots also displayed their six Super Bowl trophies for families to take photos with. (NCM)

4. The Celtics face the Pacers in game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals tomorrow night. The Pacers eliminated the Knicks in 7 games.

5. Sriracha production has halted due to a shortage of red jalapeño peppers. The shortage is driven by a severe dry spell in Mexico, a major pepper exporter. Red winter jalapeños, the key ingredient in Sriracha, are particularly sensitive to high temperatures and can only be grown in the winter cycle. Production is projected to begin soon after Labor Day.
