2. Data from the Maine Attorney General’s Office shows that use of the state’s Yellow Flag law is on the rise. Since the Lewiston shootings on Oct. 25 the law has been invoked 14 times, five times last Friday alone. The law was not used at any point to disarm the Lewiston shooterRobert Card, something that has upset many people, including one of the lawmakers who helped to write the law. (WMTW)

The American Psychological Association has released the ‘Stress in America 2023’ report and it looks like we’re stressed about the usual; money, the economy and our health. 65% polled said health-related issues have been a stressor. 64% have been stressing about the economy, up from 45% in 2019. 4. The Portland City Council Monday unanimously approved an agreement to let a professional soccer team use Fitzpatrick Stadium. Portland United will start play in 2025 and will use Fitzpatrick Stadium rent free for 10 years in exchange for at least $1 million in club-financed improvements to the facility. (WMTW)
