3. Portland’s Mayoral Race will head to rank choice tabulation after no candidates received over 50% of the vote. Rank choice tabulation will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Portland City Hall. (WMTW) Lewiston narrowed down its choice for mayor to two candidates. There will be a runoff election in Lewiston between former State Representative Jon Connor and Incumbent Mayor Carl Sheline. 4. Millions of dollars in bets were made in Maine over the weekend to DraftKings. Sports betting began in the state early Friday morning. From Friday until Sunday, DraftKings reported more than $3,406,000 in total wagering receipts. Out of that $3.4 million, more than $2.57 million in winnings were paid out. (WMTW)
