1. A driver is seriously injured after police say he lost control of his Ferrari convertible Sunday morning, veered off the road and rolled over on Bond Spring Road in Newfield. A child passenger was also sent to the hospital with an injury described as minor. (WMTW)

3. Starting today, drivers traveling eastbound on Western Avenue toward Augusta to get onto Interstate 95 will have to find a new route. The on-ramp will be closed as part of a $30 million project to replace the bridge that carries Western Avenue over the highway. (PH)

4. Tensions have been escalating in Cape Elizabeth over a perception that the Cape Elizabeth Planning Board is trying to remove parking spaces in front of The Cookie Jar. Campaign signs across town urge locals to “Save the Cookie Jar,” as does an online petition that’s garnered more than 3,000 signatures in less than a week. A special meeting will be held today to consider giving the Cookie Jar a license to keep the spaces. (PH)
