2. Maine’s first foliage report has been issued! The reports, which make an appearance each fall, are released every Wednesday through late October, providing weekly updates about peak foliage throughout the state. We will begin to see color progression from north to south in mid-October. By mid- to late-October, coastal Maine should begin reaching peak conditions. (NCM)

4. Mexico’s Congress held a hearing on UFOs. At one point, UFO researcher Jaime Maussan unveiled two alleged 1,000-year-old “alien corpses” found in Peru that were stored in small boxes. “These specimens are not part of our evolutionary history on Earth,” Maussan said while under oath. (JN)
