1. A 13-year-old boy was killed and two other teens seriously injured after being hit by a car on Warren Avenue in Portland Saturday night. Police say the group of teens abruptly entered the road before they were struck. The driver remained at the scene, and no charges have been filed as the investigation continues. (PH)
2. A car crashed through a cemetery in Warren Saturday morning, injuring the driver and damaging 18 headstones and footstones. Officials say the car left the road at a high rate of speed and also smashed through a rock wall. The cemetery contains graves of veterans from both the Revolutionary and Civil wars. (WGME)

4. Diesel prices in Maine have climbed above $6 a gallon, currently averaging $6.14 — up from about $4 a year ago. Analysts warn the higher transportation costs could eventually drive up prices for groceries and other goods, while home heating oil could also become significantly more expensive this winter. (WGME)
5. Cooper Flagg’s new trading card shop officially opened in downtown Bangor Saturday, drawing fans who waited hours to get inside. Flagg Trading Company is owned by Cooper and his cousin Tyler, with some fans lining up as early as 3 a.m. Cooper greeted fans, handed out cards and helped cut the ribbon before even jumping behind the register.
