1. A 48-year-old Augusta man was killed after his motorcycle collided with a school bus Tuesday afternoon. A passenger on the motorcycle was flown to the hospital with injuries. No students were on the bus, and the crash remains under investigation. (WMTW)

2. A 9-year-old boy was injured after a dump truck ran over his foot on Washington Avenue in Portland Tuesday. Police say the boy was crossing against the pedestrian signal and the driver was unable to stop in time. The boy suffered non-life-threatening injuries, and no charges have been filed. (WMTW)

3. A recent string of serious crashes is prompting Portland officials to urge drivers, pedestrians and cyclists to be more careful. A 13-year-old was killed on Warren Avenue Sunday, and Tuesday a child’s foot was run over by a dump truck on Washington Avenue. Mayor Mark Dion is asking drivers to slow down, eliminate distractions and stay alert. (WMTW)

4. York police are removing the town’s Flock license plate cameras amid privacy concerns from residents. Voters will still decide in November whether to permanently ban the technology. South Portland removed its Flock cameras earlier this year. (WGME)

5. More than 100 kids at the Boys and Girls Club of Southern Maine are getting new bikes and helmets. Hannaford, the Bicycle Coalition of Maine and Yasso Frozen Yogurt teamed up for the donation, helping provide bikes to kids who may not otherwise have access to one. (WGME)
