1. New York City Mayor Eric Adams has been indicted by a grand jury on federal criminal charges. It was not immediately clear when the charges would be made public or when Adams might have to appear in court. (WMTW)
2. A Maine man was arrested again days after damaging 75 vehicles at a dealership in Auburn. Police responded to a multi-vehicle crash at the intersection of Main and Canal streets around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The offending vehicle then fled the scene and crashed into other vehicles. (WGME)
3. Dozens of students in Houlton walked out of class, protesting what they call a pervasive culture of sexual harassment, assault, and bullying at their school. Students say there have already been 16 bullying or harassment cases investigated in the first couple weeks of classes including a video with images of more than 100 girls in it, with their faces enlarged. 4. Portland’s “first skyscraper” also known as the People’s United Bank Building, or the Fidelity Trust Co. Building, at the now-vacant 465 Congress St.is going to become a swanky bank-themed boutique hotel, complete with a restaurant and speakeasy in the old vault. The developer was behind several other hotels in the city, including the Press Hotel. (PH)
