“The Fall-Off” has been in the works for several years, with Cole teasing the project since at least 2018, including a track titled “1985 (Intro to ‘The Fall Off)” on his album “KOD.”
Although fans expected the album in 2019, it did not materialize. Instead, Cole released “The Off-Season” in 2021, which broke streaming records and debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. His most recent project, the mixtape “Might Delete Later,” was released amid a brief feud with Kendrick Lamar and included a track that was later deleted following controversy.
The wait is almost over!
