I got to catch up with Maine’s own Sam Ramsdell to talk about giving back, getting involved, and supporting an important cause right here in our community!

Sam talked about her involvement with Maine Needs, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping Mainers by providing essential support to individuals and families across the state. Having recently moved back to Maine, Sam shared how excited she is to reconnect with her home state and use her platform to make a positive impact!

One of the biggest ways she’s doing that is by supporting the upcoming second annual Maine Needs Community Walk & 5K, happening Saturday, May 23rd at 9am in Portland. Sam encourages people of all abilities to come out and take part, whether you choose to race, walk, roll, or stroll! She also shared that families and pets are welcome, making it a fun and meaningful event for everyone.
