The Maine Celtics are back, and guard Milos Uzan is ready to hit the court! Ahead of the team’s season opener at the Portland Expo, Milos joined me in studio to talk about his first professional season, his experience with the Boston Celtics, and how he’s settling into life in Maine.
The 6-foot-4 point guard says fans can expect an exciting, competitive team filled with high-flying players and talented shooters. He also praised his teammates’ unselfish mentality and shared commitment to winning, adding that their chemistry will only continue to grow throughout the season.
Milos also reflected on his time at Boston Celtics training camp, where he learned from players like Payton Pritchard and Derrick White and had the opportunity to compete against some of the NBA’s biggest names during preseason action.
Off the court, Milos has been getting acquainted with Portland! He’s explored the water by boat, attempted to catch a lobster, and checked out some local burger spots. He even shared his longtime pregame hype song, “Went Legit” by G Herbo, although he might be switching things up this season.
The Maine Celtics tip off their season Friday, November 6th at 7pm, with another home game Sunday, November 8th at the Portland Expo.
