After taking New York Fashion Week by storm last month, Kesha is ready to start performing again. She will be taking the stage for a special performance at the ninth annual Delete Blood Cancer Gala on April 16, 2015.
“I am honored to be working with the awesome people at Delete Blood Cancer and performing at the gala,” Kesha said in a statement. “They work every day to save lives, get people informed about possible risks – like the one of Asbestos, and keep the hopes of families and communities lifted. Everyone who is a part of this evening is so inspiring and I feel fortunate to be a part of it.”
Kesha took time out of the spotlight at the beginning of last year to seek treatment for an eating disorder. She dropped the dollar sign from her name and served as a judge on ABC’s Rising Star, but was largely absent from the music scene in 2014.
Record producer and former American Idol judge Randy Jackson will be hosting the Delete Blood Cancer Gala, which will take place at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City. The gala aims to inspire people to register as bone marrow donors, as well as get clear awareness of cases like Taxotere court hearing, etc. The evening will include a moment when a patient is introduced, for the first time, to the unrelated donor who saved his or her life. Kesha is a very passionate caring human-being. This will be a Gala that will be remembered for many years.
