Even as a Yankees fan, I can’t hate on Ortiz. He’s a homie. Just as respectable Red Sox fans can’t hate on my boy, Jeter.
These videos are always funny, though. Get some die-hards to talk trash about someone and then BAM! Confrontation in its purest form.
Papi seemed cool with it. Probably because:
- He has an entire region of the US behind him (New England)
- He probably doesn’t care what these people think
- He was expecting this, and probably even worse
- He makes more per swing-of-the-bat than I’ll probably ever make in my entire life.
