Denim. Vintage. Boho. Fall. Fashion. The combination of these things sounds absolutely delightful to me.
That’s why I was very excited when I came across a local clothing line called Takeko on Instagram.
Takeko, which is a Japanese woman’s name and translates to ‘bamboo child’, was launched by Laura Ker in June of this year.
The line features repurposed vintage denim pieces, a lot of which are from the 90’s (another plus in my book).
I met with Laura to talk more about her line, and to try on a few of her pieces for myself.
I love the minimalist look of the line, and the clothes are very comfortable and super causal yet stylish.
All of the pieces are unisex, and available to purchase at Find on Free Street in Portland, or through the Instagram page @takekoline.
Happy shopping, and happy Fall!
