Aaaaah the modern phenomenon that is “ghosting”…it’s one thing I think we can all agree SUCKS about dating in this day and age. Unless you’re the one doing the ghostin’ in which case SHAME ON YOU.

For those who don’t know what this means, first of all do you live under a rock? Just kidding. Seriously though, ghosting (according to Urban Dictionary, the finest resource on the internet) is:

“The act of suddenly ceasing all communication with someone the subject is dating, but no longer wishes to date.”

It’s not the nicest thing to do, but people still do it. Definitely a lazy and selfish way to go about telling someone you’re not into them.

For those of us who were the ghostees (yes it’s happened to me before, I can relate) check out this video. Buzzfeed pretty much nailed it. It’s a comical and creative take on rather sad and disappointing behavior, but hey let’s all have a laugh about it instead of being sad and stuff.
