Time to get your telescopes out! Tonight we’re going to be able to see a meteor shower from the debris of Halley’s Comet (my personal favorite comet, for obvious reasons).
According to this, Maine isn’t going to have the BEST viability of it, but it’s still fun to look for. The shower should start tonight and will run through tomorrow morning and the peak viewing time will be a few hours before dawn tomorrow.
There’s going to be up to 20 shooting stars per hour- that’s insane. If you get any footage, be sure to share it with us!
