1. Dr. Ronny Jackson, the White House physician who also served Barack Obama, has declared that President Donald Trump is in excellent health and received a perfect score on a cognitive exam. “I think he will remain fit for duty for the remainder of this term and even for the remainder of another term if he’s elected,” Jackson told reporters on Tuesday. He went on to take the blame for Trump slurring his words during a speech in December, which prompted critics to speculate that he was suffering from dementia. “I had given the president some medication, specifically some Sudafed over the days previous and dried up his secretions more than I intended to,” Jackson explained. He also shared that Trump, standing at 6 feet, 3 inches and weighing 239 pounds, is just below the “obese” range on the body mass index. But Trump has agreed to try to lose 10 to 15 pounds. “He’s more enthusiastic about the diet part than the exercise part, but we’re going to do both,” Jackson admitted. He noted that despite being overweight and having elevated cholesterol and blood pressure levels, Trump is healthy due to “great genes” and abstaining from alcohol and cigarettes his entire life. 2. A winter storm warning is in effect until 7 p.m. today for York, Cumberland, Androscoggin, Kennebec, Sagadahoc, Lincoln, Knox and Waldo counties. 3. More than $4,000 was raised to buy a Maine pony named Richard a new penis. Volunteers taking care of Richard set up an online fundraising effort to raise at least $3,000 for the surgery By Wednesday afternoon, the group had raised more than $4,000. 4. An officer of the Portland Police Department was arrested late Saturday night at a Ja Rule & Ashanti concert in Worcester, city officials in Maine confirmed Tuesday. According to a statement from Portland Police Chief Michael Sauschuck, Officer Zahra Abu, 24, was arrested by police in Worcester on several charges including assault and battery, trespass, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace. She has been put on administrative leave with pay pending the outcome of an internal review. (NewsCenterMaine)

On Tuesday in the Russian region of Yakutia, the temperature reached a low of 88 degrees below zero (Fahrenheit), causing school to be canceled in a place where children regularly brave the elements when thermostats hit 40 below.
