Chicagoan Mick Jenkins is perhaps one of hip-hop’s (still…somehow) best kept secrets. Releasing his superb Pieces of a Man album late in 2018, Mick delivers a video for one of the projects stand out tracks to keep the ball rolling. Did I mention the video was shot in Portland? Jamaica, that is. Portland, Jamaica. Hey, we’ll take it.

“I can cut the tension in the room with a butter knife, I handle the heat like an oven mitt,” Mick raps as he enjoys a few drinks with some friends in this beach side village. As the title suggests, seduction takes place as Mick locks eyes with a lady he’d like to pursue.
